Ventral Incisional Hernia Symptoms: Ventral and incisional hernias can cause no symptoms, or can cause pain and/or a
bulge. Ventral and incisional hernia can also result in fat or organs being stuck in
the hernia (incarceration) which can also lead to the blood supply to the organ being
cut off (strangulation). Symptoms associated with these processes, which are emergencies, include nausea, vomiting, inability to pass wind or bowel movements,
as well as a very dangerous body wide infection (sepsis).
